Description of the Tour

This tour is a mix of nature and farms sightseeing around the Floi parish area.  Our first stop is at the waterfall Urridafoss in Þjorsa river, that many call the hidden pearl in the Floi parish.  Next stop is at the farm Egilsstaðakot where we take a look at the sheeps in a newly built sheaphouse.   We stop next at the horsefarm Hólaborg, a new horsecenter built for training horses and is also a physiotherapy and endurance training center for Icelandic horses. At Holaborg horsecenter is others animals also, such as goats, sheeps and birds.  At the coast we stop at a lighthouse and take a look at the coastline.  Last stop before Selfoss is the county heritage museum in Eyrarbakki.  In Selfoss we end the tour at Tryggvaskali restaurant with a culinary adventure of salmon and lobster plate.
